Raised in Alexandria Bay, Clint Taylor grew up hunting, fishing and exploring the St. Lawrence River. As a decoy maker, Taylor blends his talents as an artist with his longstanding interest in the region’s waterfowl and wildlife. His business, Taylor Decoys, is known throughout the United States for high quality, customized decoys. Clint Taylor makes a wide range of working decoys – puddle ducks, diver ducks and sea ducks – using either cork or white cedar, tupelo or bass wood. Taylor makes a point to work with his customers on designing his decoys to suit their interests, whether it be hunting or collecting.
